Job Description
Work for Marcon as a Project Analyst.
Perform on behalf of Marcon forensic investigations of existing buildings,
including but not limited to review and research documents, attend site
inspections and testing, analyze existing building envelope issues, prepare
engineering evaluation reports, etc.
Assist Marcon and Marcon personnel in performing field investigations, including
accessing roofs, balconies, ladders, and other potentially difficult-to-access
locations.
Provide Marcon with on-call, full work availability (excepting holidays as listed
below) during normal working hours not-to-exceed an equivalent yearly average
of forty hours per week.
Travel on behalf of Marcon.
Become proficient in Marcon’s investigative methods and use of software.
Submit monthly time sheets with full descriptions of the tasks performed and the
amount of time spent at those tasks.
Submit monthly expense reports for reimbursement.
Maintain automobile insurance coverage if using your own personal
transportation.
Pay for travel expenses including, but not limited to, fuel, parking, hotel, meals,
etc., to be reimbursed after the monthly submittal of an expense report.
Provide a remote workspace, complete with high-speed internet service.
Provide your own cell phone.
Comport yourself in a fully professional manner as a representative of Marcon,
maintaining confidence with matters relating to all work performed on behalf of
Marcon.
Use Marcon’s proprietary software only to perform work on Marcon’s behalf and
only during your period of retention with Marcon.
Perform your work expeditiously and in a manner consistent with standards of skill
and care normal to the professional engineering community.
